This background has deepened my understanding of workplace-related stress, burnout, and interpersonal difficulties, and informs the practical, effective coping strategies I share with clients today. On a personal level, I’ve experienced the profound impact of grief following the loss of my adult son and a baby granddaughter. Those heart-breaking journeys brought with it a whirlwind of emotions and taught me just how deeply grief can affect the entire family system. It reinforced my belief in the power of open communication—through talking, we can begin to make sense of loss, and find emotional release.
