As a counselor and listener intern, my primary responsibility is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, emotions, and personal challenges. I believe that every person deserves to be heard with empathy, respect, and understanding. Active listening is one of the most important skills in counseling because it helps clients feel valued and understood. Rather than giving quick advice or making judgments, I focus on listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and encouraging clients to express themselves openly.
