My life took a 180 degree turn when I got sick 7 years back. Constant visits to the doctors with only one hope-to get my health back, took its toll on me. All this while, the thing that has been the lifesaver is talking to my sister. Just pouring my heart out without any fear of judgement. Because sometimes we want someone to just listen to us, not because they can solve our issues but just for cathartic release. Coming from a place where I once felt suffocated, alone and helpless amidst the plethora of challenges surrounding me, I know what it feels like to have someone who is present and listens to you whole-heartedly and I want to be that someone for somebody in need.
