As a dedicated mental health professional currently completing my Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, I am committed to the art of fostering psychological well-being through empathetic, evidence-based practice. My academic journey, which includes a Master’s degree and a specialized focus on Positive Psychology, has provided me with a robust theoretical foundation in understanding human behavior, character strengths, and the intricate dynamics of the mind. I believe that counseling is not merely about addressing pathology, but about identifying and nurturing the inherent virtues that allow individuals to flourish. My practical experience, including a clinical internship in Gurugram, has allowed me to translate academic theory into meaningful human connection. During this time, I developed a deep appreciation for the Indian context of psychotherapy, integrating traditional holistic practices like yoga and meditation with modern frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Client-Centered Therapy. I approach every session with the core belief that "listening" is a powerful therapeutic intervention. By providing a sanctuary of unconditional positive regard and non-judgmental support, I aim to help individuals navigate their challenges, from educational hurdles to complex emotional transitions. I am particularly passionate about the role of guidance in educational settings, where early intervention can shape a lifetime of resilience. My goal is to serve as a bridge between struggle and strength, utilizing reflective communication to empower others to discover their own internal resources.
