As a listening volunteer, I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings as they deem fit using empathy, reflection, and open-ended questioning to help people feel heard, understood, and valued as well as maintaining clear boundaries and confidentiality while offering consistent and respectful support. promoting emotional wellbeing by allowing individuals the space to explore their experiences at their own pace, without pressure or judgement.
