I believe the most valuable aspect of being a counsellor is not only providing clients with the tools needed to manage their issues but also being there to listen, offer hope, and provide encouragement. It sounds simple, but it can be powerful for a client to feel heard and validated, especially when they have been struggling for an extended period without support. It is rewarding for me to see a person heal from hardships and continue confidently on their recovery journey. In life, we constantly face difficulties and moments that test us as individuals. I believe that no one should feel stuck in unhealthy patterns or left to navigate life challenges alone. My greatest desire is to empower my clients to tap into their inner strength, develop coping strategies, and set realistic life goal.
