As a counsellor, my goal is to ensure that every individual who seeks guidance feels heard, understood, and supported. Whether working with students or adults, the core principle of counselling remains the same: providing a safe, confidential space where individuals can explore their emotions, challenges, and aspirations. It is my responsibility to help guide individuals through the various stages of life, aligning with personal and educational goals, and fostering their development in ways that prepare them for the dynamic and challenging world we live in today. Counselling in any setting should focus on education, prevention, early identification, and intervention to support the overall well-being and success of individuals. The goal is not only to help individuals overcome personal struggles, but also to equip them with the social and emotional skills or tools needed to thrive in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
