Eileen Leong

I am currently pursuing a Degree in Psychology and Counselling, and I am expected to graduate in the middle of this year. Prior to this, I completed a Diploma in Psychology and Counselling, which strengthened my interest in understanding human behaviour and supporting individuals through challenges. I have also gained valuable real-world experience from working in a hospital setting for the past seven years. During this time, I developed strong interpersonal skills, emotional awareness, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in demanding situations. My experience in healthcare has helped me better understand people from diverse backgrounds and the various emotional and psychological needs they may face. Colleagues and people around me often approach me when they are facing personal or work-related difficulties because I am known to be a good listener and someone they can trust. I genuinely enjoy listening to others, offering support, and helping people feel understood and guided during challenging times. My passion lies in helping individuals improve their well-being, and I am committed to continuing my professional growth in the field of psychology and counselling. I hope to use both my academic knowledge and practical experience to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
