Abigail Tyler

Over the past two years, I have developed strong listening and empathetic communication skills through my roles as a Cogwell International Fellow, Chabad Tier One Freshman Engagement Intern, and Teach For America Ignite Fellow. In these positions, I facilitated meaningful conversations with students and peers, providing guidance, support, and a non-judgmental space for them to discuss academic, personal, and social challenges. I ran coffee chats and one-on-one sessions with freshmen, advised on navigating campus life, and virtually tutored second graders in reading, tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs. These experiences strengthened my ability to listen actively, respond thoughtfully, and build trust across diverse and dynamic settings.
