Manisha Ghosh

I have completed my Master’s in Clinical Psychology and have been working as a counsellor for the past year. Along with my academic training, I have also completed a Basic Counselling Skills course, which has strengthened my ability to understand clients’ emotional experiences and support them effectively. In my practice, I focus on creating a safe, non-judgemental, and compassionate space where clients can express themselves freely without fear of criticism or misunderstanding. Confidentiality is a core part of my professional values, and I ensure that everything shared in therapy remains strictly protected. I offer therapy based on each client’s individual needs, integrating different approaches depending on their unique concerns, pace, and comfort. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and use it where appropriate, especially for trauma-related issues. My work is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a genuine commitment to supporting clients through their healing journey. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, schizophrenia, anger issues, and motivational difficulties such as laziness or lack of drive. My goal is to help clients understand their emotions, develop healthier coping skills, and build the confidence to navigate life’s challenges more effectively. Overall, I strive to provide a supportive, client-centered therapeutic environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered as they work toward emotional well-being and personal growth.
