Leyli Majidova

A volunteer who attentively hears and understands others, offering empathy and support for those who struggle with mental health issues. I also have experience working with Special educational needs children and adolescents with genetic disorders, Autism spectrum disorder, neurological disorders, ADHD, OCD and other mental health disorders in an educational setting. I have also took modules at the University of York which focus on therapies such as; acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma informed care, cognitive behavioural therapy and compassion focused therapy. I have also covered disorders such as panic disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD, and living with chronic pain. I am an open minded and non-judgmental listener who is often available to speak to clients when need be. Please feel welcome to have a trial session with me!
