I listen to people with empathy without judgement, and opinion and believe in confidentiality. I am patient and read between the lines and provide emotional support through language and body language. I have listened to people for hours and acknowledged that i am there by gestures, nodding, and words like yes, okay, I hear you, fine, I am with you. etc and help the person vent out.
